US is Banning Laptops & Tablets from 8 Countries

An aircraft was damaged by an explosion shortly after the take-off from the Somali capital, Mogadishu. The carrier was named as Daallo that was operated by Dubai.

As per the investors one of the passengers were carrying a laptop bomb on the plane, the pilot somehow managed to land the plane on the ground. Had the device gone off at cruising altitude the plane would almost certainly have been destroyed.

American spies are too concern that an attack like this can happen anytime over again, as the Islamic militant group al-Shabab, which is linked to al-Qaeda, claimed that it was responsible.

But the officials are totally ignoring the fact behind proposing the ban at the first place.

Homeland Security, The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) refused to make any statement regarding the Somali plane bomb.

A formal list of the airlines affected has yet to be released, but an official speaking to the Associated Press (AP) said it would apply to the following 10 airports in eight countries:

  1. Queen Alia International, Amman, Jordan
  2. Cairo International Airport, Egypt
  3. Ataturk Airport, Istanbul, Turkey
  4. King Abdulaziz International, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
  5. King Khalid International, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  6. Kuwait International Airport
  7. Mohammed V International, Casablanca, Morocco
  8. Hamad International, Doha, Qatar
  9. Dubai International, United Arab Emirates
  10. Abu Dhabi International, United Arab Emirates

According to the officials the ban had to end date.

CNN was first to report about Royal Jordanian that it would ban passengers from carrying on most electronics to and from its North American flights.

The Jordan-carrier said that it would strictly prohibit the passengers from carrying any electronic devices on the plane accept phones and medical devices. Not only that all the laptops, tablets, DVD players and electrical games must be checked with the baggage. This will make a tremendous affect Royal Jordanian flights to New York, Chicago, Detroit and Montreal.

The new ban has been under consideration for several weeks, according to US media.
